Wagga City Library is seeking a flexible and enthusiastic person who is committed to providing high quality library and information services to the community.
- Remuneration package of $69,856.28 + superannuation.
Your new role:
As the Team Leader Information, Literacy and Learning you will lead and develop the Circulation Team in order to achieve the best organisational and community outcomes in relation to service delivery.
You will develop, facilitate and deliver training sessions on information services, digital literacy and technology in the key program areas of school aged information literacy; adult information, literacy and learning; and, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) initiatives including English as a Second language.
What you will need to succeed:
To be successful you will need to have a sound foundation in using electronic information resources, social media, mobile devices and similar technologies as well as organisational and presentation skills. This position also provides input to monitoring and expanding the library’s print and electronic resources including the Local Studies collection of Wagga history.
The successful applicant will possess relevant qualifications and program delivery experience including a passion for engaging in creative and innovative activities. Highly developed communication, interpersonal and time management skills including the ability to work effectively in a team environment is essential to the success in this role.
