Exciting Project Manager job in Melbourne’s South East with a Local Council.

Your new company
A Local Council based in Melbourne requires a Project Manager to join their team to contribute to the delivery of their capital works program. This organisation is very progressive and are implementing a new structure where change and development is encouraged.

Your new role
You will be responsible for:

• end to end management and delivery of projects from design through to completion
• prepare and assess tender documents
• engage with internal and external consultants
• monitor budgets
• oversee the construction phase
• monitor handover and liability period
• overseeing new builds of community facilities
• write reports on project progress

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated experience within the building industry in Capital Works as a Project Manager with relevant qualifications in Engineering, Architecture or a related field preferable.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritise and organise multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong motivational and communication skills will be necessary, as well as a positive and energetic work commitment.
