The Senior Adviser Waste Management provides high level specialist advice regarding the administration and enforcement of the Environment Protection Act 1993 and engages with industry, government and the community to regulate waste management and resource recovery in a consistent and effective manner. The Senior Adviser manages and conducts inspections of complex licenced facilities and assesses environmental risk to ensure that required environmental outcomes are achieved through the use of appropriate regulatory tools and enforcement options.
