Salary: Remuneration package of up to $171,016 p.a. (+ other applicable allowances/benefits) comprising salary range of $105,377 to $116,066 p.a. (full time) or $53.14 to $58.53 p.h. (part time) (L4-L7), recreational leave loading (17.5%), employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%), recreational leave loading (17.5%), employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%), attraction and retention incentive allowance, professional development assistance (leave and vocational training subsidy)



About the role
Support Staff Specialists and Senior Medical Staff to ensure that radiology services are provided to the Townsville Hospital and Health Service are in accordance with best practice models.
This is a training position for specialist training in Radiology.

 

Role requirements are:

  • MBBS or equivalent (AMC);
  • Minimum of two years of post-graduate clinical medical experience;
  • Australian Permanent Residency Status or Current work visa for full duration of the RANZCR training (5 years);
  • General Registration with the Australian Medical Board (no restrictions);
  • IELTS Pass of 8 or above for those with English as a second language (include documentation);
  • Pass in both AMC MCQ Examinations.
  • Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropiate supervisor/manager prior to commencement of clinical duties.
  • Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD): Health Care Workers in Queensland Health whose occupation poses a potential risk of exposure to blood or body fluids are required to provide evidence of vaccinations or proof that they are not susceptible (due to prior exposure to the disease and therefore have natural immunity) to the following VPD's Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella and Pertussis (diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis containing vaccine) according to the Queensland Health Policy.
