Do you have a keen interest in aquatic fun, fitness and safety?
Expressions of interest are invited from friendly and motivated applicants who would be interested in joining our Casual Aquatic Attendant casual pool.
This role is responsible for providing strong customer service and a safe environment for all patrons, as well as contributing to the successful implementation of all programs at the centres. Successful applicants may also be required to undertake lifeguard duties at Wetside Water Park.
The successful applicants will possess a First Aid Certificate, a Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or the ability to obtain these) and a Working with Children Suitability Card (“Blue Card”), as well as exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to creating a safe and fun environment for all visitors.
Applicants who also possess an Austswim Certificate and/or an Aquatic Coaching Certificate will be highly regarded, as will applicants with aquatic centre lifeguarding experience.
Applicants without the required certifications must be prepared to obtain them prior to commencement.
*Junior rates will apply to any successful applicant under the age of 20 years, as per the Queensland Local Government Industry Award – State 2014.
