Network Administrator
Pay rate - $520 daily rate
Hours - 8 hours a day, 5 days out of 7 days a week (successful candidate can choose 2 days off based on business)
Location - Parramatta
Role Context and Description
You will be responsible for the day to day management and troubleshooting of the organisation’s infrastructure including the LAN, WAN and WLAN. You will support and manage the organisation's infrastructure, be responsible for liaising with telecommunications & external contractors and will maintain an effective monitoring and backup regime.
Role Deliverables
This Network Administrator be working for a NSW Government organisation as a contractor in Parramatta for a period of 3 months with possible extensions. The position is a member of the Business Technology Services Operations network team and reports to the Team Leader. The position provides network support and implementation for all network related matters.
Hours of Work
The successful candidate will agree to the requirement to work 5/7 days. Travel may be required. Time in lieu will be offered in lieu of overtime.
Skill Requirements/ Qualifications
The following technical skills is highly sorted:
- Proficient with routing, switching (Avaya and Cisco)
- Load balancers (F5)
- Firewalls (Juniper and Palo Alto)
- Experienced with managing a Cisco Wireless LAN environment
