What you'll be doing
The primary purpose of the position is providing timely and accurate services in Purchasing and Business Support Services to customers and contributing to the efficient and effective functioning of Purchasing and Business Support area in HealthShare Corporate.
 
Health share corporate provides services to the ministry which includes purchasing and business support services including   travel, motor vehicle and mobile phones/support devices. The role ensures administrative services are provided in compliance with government policies, Treasurer’s Directions, Ministry purchasing policies and procedures and relevant statutory requirements.

Selection Criteria 

  • Demonstrated experience in providing administrative services including administering end to end Travel services, and Purchasing and Asset Management administration and/or support functions. This includes well-developed knowledge in reviewing transactions, undertaking reconciliations and preparing journals.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills including experience providing information, advice and efficient services to customers of varying levels of seniority and providing best value for money recommendations
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results with a customer focused approach.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills with a demonstrated commitment to the provision of high level quality and customer focused services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise effectively with the internal customers and suppliers to provide services and resolve issues.
  • Sound problem-solving skills and proven analytical skills to investigate and resolve transactional issues and to contribute to continuous improvement projects and review operational systems.
  • Computer literate with intermediate skills in MS Office (including Word, Excel and Outlook) or similar software, and capacity to quickly learn new software or online systems.
  • Proven capacity to work with minimal supervision and work collaboratively in a team environment.
