Working with a national policy team, this role will support the development of briefings, policy statements and submissions to Government. You will also provide adhoc support to the communications and media teams with evidence based policy communications.
The ideal candidate will have gained experience working in health policy areas with highly developed research and writing skills. You will bring sound stakeholder management skills and the ability to produce work within set time lines. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a diverse role and can demonstrate experience with a range governance structures and administration tasks.
The successful candidates will also demonstrate the following:
- Sound analytical skills with the ability to research and write concise policy statements
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with governing committees
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to navigate complex issues
- The ability to multi task and prioritise work effectively
- Prior experience gained in a policy officer role will be advantageous
