Representing a number of reputable local government councils around Perth, we are seeking those with sound industry knowledge and prior experience in the industry.

Description

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for taking on one of the key roles within the organisation while maintaining the following duties:

• Coordinate the organisation, compilation and distribution of agendas and minutes for Committee Meetings, Ordinary and Special Council Meetings, Electors Meetings and Briefing Sessions / Workshops as required
• Provide legislative advice and information and record proceedings for nominated Council and Committee meetings
• Undertake research, write reports and prepare correspondence for, Council and/or Committee meetings and Elected Members
• Identify and develop internal processes to improve the efficiency of the Council decision making process
• Review reports to Council and Committees to ensure statutory compliance
