This ever growing government body based in the Northern suburbs has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and outgoing Customer Service Officer to provide assistance within their busy Citizen Services department. This council is close to public transport and has a strong focus on ensuring excellent service delivery.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing customer service solutions within an inbound call centre environment to members of the community
- Dealing with general queries due to rates, permits, local laws, applications and other council matters
- Data entry and other adhoc duties
- Call centre environment as well as front desk cashier tasks
- Supporting Customer Service team
To be successful in this role you MUST:
- Have previous Local Government experience
- Experience using Pathway CRM would be ideal
- Have call centre experience dealing with a very busy switchboard
- Be extremely customer service focused
- Possess superior organisational and time management skills
- Be an effective communicator
- Have an intermediate working knowledge of the MS Office suite
Applicants must have the ability to learn web based systems quickly and efficiently; previous use of Pathways, Confirm or Authority will be advantageous. Your outgoing personality and willingness to be self motivated will see you succeed in this position.
