The Whitsunday Regional Council is situated at the heart of the Great Barrier Reef. The region encompasses the 74 tropical Whitsunday Islands, the coastal towns of Cannonvale, Airlie Beach, Jubilee Pocket, Shute Harbour and Bowen along with the rural towns of Proserpine and Collinsville. The Whitsunday region offers a dynamic environment and is perfectly placed to live, work, play and invest.
The role of Capital Works Engineer is required to assist with the management of the overall capital program for Council's water and sewerage infrastructure, including project management and project engineering duties of projects. The successful applicant will be Bachelor Degree qualified to provide technical enginering input and will mentor fellow employees within the department.
Essential Skills
- manual "C" class drivers licence
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline
- Diploma in Project Management
