About the Position

Reporting to the Manager – Planning and Performance, the Team Leader – Intelligence is responsible for industry intelligence data whilst assisting the Manager in the areas of case management and performance reporting systems. The Team Leader is responsible for the production of intelligence reports that will allow the Executive Team and managers within the ABCC to identify trends within the industry and further develop strategies to address those trends.

The successful applicant will also supervise a small team and will develop strong working relationships with ABCC staff and management, as well as a range of external stakeholders. The Team Leader – Intelligence will take a lead role in contributing to initiatives that enhance and streamline the agency’s data collection and reporting processes.

What you’ll need to succeed

• An ability to manipulate analyse and interpret data across a number of databases.

• An ability to synthesise information from a range of sources in order to draw logical conclusions and make realistic projections.

• Demonstrated ability to prepare succinct, accurate and relevant reports.

• Experience in the use, management and support of databases and analytical tools.

• Experience supervising, coaching and coordinating the workflow of a team.

• Proven experience as a business or intelligence analyst, or experience with VBA, SQL and basic programming skills, is desirable.
