  • VPSG5 salary range: $95,275 - $115,276 p.a. + super + leave loading
  • One (1) full time, fixed term (until 30.06.2019) position available
  • Plan, manage and deliver change activities for BlueConnect Project

Some of your duties will include:

  • Maintaining overall responsibility for the planning and execution of change activity for the BlueConnect Project.
  • Assessing the change impact and conduct change impact assessments.
  • Developing the change management approach.
  • Enabling and overseeing training design, development and delivery activities.
  • Developing and delivering change management and communications plans.
  • Coordinating Organisational Change Management (OCM) activities through regular check-ins, Project status reporting and providing guidance to team members.
  • Defining people and organisation readiness activities as input into business readiness planning.
  • Planning and monitoring stakeholder progress on the commitment curve and assess stakeholder change readiness.
  • Defining and measuring change management success criteria.
  • Acting as the primary coordination and reference point for change management activity relating to the Project.
  • Critically reviewing (and approve where appropriate) change management work products to support activities.
  • Reporting, monitoring and mitigating risks and issues associated with the change.
  • Working cross-functionally with all areas of the project team and organisation, engaging, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Working with the BlueConnect Organisational Change Management Lead to determine priorities and ensure that the change journey is aligned to the organisation and program's vision.
  • Ensuring that the change management component of the project is delivered within time, quality and budget constraints.

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Experience in planning and delivering change in a large complex project environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and driving change initiatives across multiple regions.
  • Skills in design and delivery of a communications plan.
  • Excellent project management skills, e.g. project planning, managing a plan.
  • Skills in implementing change principles across people, systems, technology and culture.
  • Highly competent and confident to build and sustain effective working relationships with people across all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent verbal communication, written communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to gain cooperation and achieve realistic outcomes.
  • Highly developed analytical, conceptual and written communication including the ability to tailor the message to the needs and interests of the audience.

 Requirements and relevant information:

  • The successful candidate may be required to undergo and successfully obtain and maintain a National Security Clearance to the level determined by the Department Head. To obtain this clearance applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
  • The incumbent will be required to complete the OHS requirements of the organisation, which may include local level training relating to equipment usage and Hazardous Chemicals.
