The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Road Designer to join the Technical & Project Services branch at Roads Maritime Services (RMS). Reporting directly to a number of regional or specialty Road Design Managers. Produce road designs, resolve difficult design problems while providing technical leadership to internal design teams and project teams. In addition, undertake the review of internally and externally prepared road designs to create strategic, concept and detailed road designs.
To be successful in this role, you have the ability to manage work priorities, meet tight deadlines, have excellent communication and project management skills also to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders on delivery of successful road infrastructure projects.

Remuneration package: RMS USS Grade 8 to 9 ($97,179- $117,262), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
