The City of Ballarat’s Operations and Environment unit is seeking self-motivated individual to become part of the Road Maintenance team, in the delivery of quality services to the City of Ballarat.
We are looking for a customer focussed person who will be responsible for Road Maintenance enquiries and scheduling for the Road Maintenance department at the City of Ballarat. The successful applicant will utilise their strong administrative and analytical skills to inspect, collate and develop maintenance schedules in conjunction with Road Maintenance Team Leaders and Contract Supervisor. You will have the ability to work as part of a team and autonomously to achieve best maintenance outcomes throughout the City of Ballarat.

Key Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated experience with Road Management Act and Councils Road Management Plan
- Demonstrated and sound experience in data entry and the development of works schedule utilising computer systems.
- Demonstrated experience of working in a team and autonomously to achieve best outcomes
- Intermediate computer literacy and experience in using handheld computer devices.
- Current Vicroads ‘Car’ Drivers licence or equivalent.
- Knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues relevant to work activities and work area.
- Ability to demonstrate and display City of Ballarat values and behaviours
