About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Visits Processing Supervisor at the Arthur Gorrie Correctional Centre. The successful candidate will be required to work full time hours Monday – Friday.
This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity and security of our visits processing procedures to ensure a smooth visits process at the same time as protecting the integrity of our front line security.
We are seeking the services of a person who MUST have experience in a supervisory roll with a small to medium sized team within a complex environment.
Staff rostering experience would be advantageous and exceptional customer service is essential.
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrated ability to manage a small team including rostering and staff performance;
- Demonstrated experience achieving outcomes whilst working under pressure and meeting very tight timeframes;
- Demonstrated accuracy and accountability for work;
- Demonstrated understanding of, or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of legislation applicable to the management of correctional centres;
- Ability to deal with visitors and staff at all levels;
- High level of confidentiality when dealing with sensitive and personal matters.
