• Two Planners required at a Band 5 or Band 6 level
• Metro Council in Northern suburbs
• $35 - $45 per hour, dependent on experience

Design & Build are currently working with a Council located North of Melbourne’s CBD to engage two contractors to assist for an initial three month period while they undergo an internal restructure.
  
You will be assisting with phone and counter duty, along with managing a caseload of applications with a focus on mid-rise unit developments. You will have experience managing a caseload of upwards of 30 applications and be comfortable report writing.
  
Council are flexible and can offer a three day week, for those who require. There is plenty of opportunity for this contract to be extended or to turn into a permanent position. This council is known for providing ongoing support and great culture within its planning team.
  
Requirements include:

• Tertiary qualification in Town Planning, Urban Studies, Environmental Planning, or related discipline.
• Victorian Statutory Planning experience is essential to the success of applications received.
• Ability to commit to an ongoing contract role.
