Director - ICT Services Operations 

• 12 month contract with possible extension option 
• Federal Government agency 
• Australian Citizenship essential 

Our Federal Government client is seeking an ICT Service Operations Director for an initial 12 month contract with possible 24 month extension, to lead and develop a small geographically diverse team and support continuous improvements in ICT management. 

Your new role:

• End to end service delivery and engagement with partnering agency for ICT ‘business as usual’ services from service planning to incident response
• Manage ICT Security services and deliver ICT service through the ICT Shared Services Model 
• Manage operational and performance reporting and monitoring for the Department's ICT Services
• Manage and coordinate business and technical change management activities
• Coordinate a team of managers to oversee day-to-day operational aspects of the ICT systems 
• Create and execute work plans and timelines and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Developing junior staff in generating practical solutions to problems based on an understanding of the broader context of issues

To succeed in this role you will have:

• Prior experience leading teams to deliver ICT services through a formal ICT management framework such as ITIL
• Experience managing and leading technical teams across multiple geographic locations 
• Strong communication skills and the ability to develop relationships with staff, customers and stakeholders 
• Experience in delivering ICT Service Management across a complex and geographically diverse organisation
