About the role:
An exciting opportunity exists for an eager and enthusiastic Legal Assistant to join our Litigation & Dispute Resolution and provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to a team of solicitors.
Key duties of this role include:
- Preparing correspondence and court documents - drafting and typing (dictaphone)
- Amending & formatting documents
- File management - maintaining orderly and up to date legal files
- Diary management
- Telephone assistance
- General administration - photocopying, couriers, billing, relieving reception
- Looking for ways to reduce the administrative workload of your solicitors
About the successful applicant:
To be successful you will have demonstrated experience in providing high level administrative assistance in a legal support position, within a fast paced litigation environment and to more than one solicitor. You will be a self-starter who takes initiative in your role, with strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
