About Us

Public Transport Victoria (PTV) is a statutory authority that acts as a system authority for all public transport and an advocate for public transport users. We are a single contact point for customers wanting information on public transport services, fares, tickets and initiatives. PTV aims to improve public transport in Victoria by ensuring better coordination between modes, facilitating expansions to the network, auditing public transport assets, promoting public transport as an alternative to the car.

About the role

The primary purpose of the role is to establish and maintain oversight of the contractual obligations that the ticketing services contractor and PTV is required to deliver in regard to the Ticketing Services Agreement. You will work closely with stakeholders within PTV and more broadly within TfV (Transport for Victoria) to enable a comprehensive view of the ticketing services contract pipeline and ensure the operational benefits from projects delivered are realised.

You will play a key role in providing advice that enables PTV to manage the ticketing service agreement and related agreements to ensure contractual deliverables are met and that PTV is driving value from the agreements and the related risks.

What we're looking for

Essential (must have to be considered for the position)

• Understanding of project risks and the impacts on contract obligations, particularly on benefits realization
• Exceptional administrative practices to ensure appropriate documentation is maintained for the purposes of governance and risk management
• Experience including the demonstrated ability to manage complex contractual and commercial arrangements including identification of risk and issues
• Demonstrated ability to provide guidance on potentially complex contractual, commercial and legal issues that may arise
• Well-developed writing and presentation skills and ability to present problems in a clear and succinct way
