- $60.00 per hour plus super
Duties
- Develop solutions for market issues identified in the space of housing supports, with a particular focus on participants who have complex needs
- Lead and manage a number of projects to ensure the successful operation of the Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) market within the Scheme
- Contribute to the governance and reporting framework, including regular reporting, and release of demand information to the market
- Strong and effective engagement with states and territories, the housing industry, support providers and participants to increase supply of accessible housing for all people with disabilities, in particular social and affordable housing options
- Provide technical advice to providers and the market, and to operational, engagement and management teams
- Ensure communication about housing issues to external and internal stakeholders is up to date, clear and consistent
- Contribute to the establishment of the National Quality and Safeguard Commission as it relates to SDA
Desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in project management, public policy and management or business are desirable.
- Experience in policy development or implementation is desirable.
Entry Level checks will be required for all successful candidates and dependent on the role the appropriate working with children and/or vulnerable people checks may need to be undertaken as per State Legislation.
