The Grounds Officer is responsible for ensuring clean and tidy buildings and grounds at the Western Plains Cultural Centre and assisting with preparation of venues for hire.

This position is a permanent part time position working 20 hours per week.

Key areas of accountability for this position include:

• Provide building maintenance and repairs
• Provide high quality grounds maintenance
• Assist with venue and event preparation 

Essential Selection Criteria

• Demonstrated relevant experience in gardening and grounds maintenance
• Demonstrated sound working knowledge of Work Health and Safety
• Physical fitness to undertake the inherent requirements of the job
• Knowledge of basic care, maintenance and use of power tools and lawn maintenance equipment

Salary: $24,527-$28,491 per annum plus superannuation and an industry allowance
