Permanent Part-Time

This new role reports to the Manager Community Services & Emergency within the Community Wellbeing Directorate. It provides an opportunity to oversee and see further contribute to the collabrative and innovative services that HRCC has implemented in recent times.

The successful applicant will ensure the efficient delivery of youth and early years as provided by the Horsham Rural City Council.

This permanent position is part-time, negotiable up to 0.8 EFT

Key objectives of this role include:

• Co-ordinate the rostering of Maternal & Child Health and Playgroup staff and oversee the provision of related services in accordance with all human resource, budgetary, OH&S, legislative, statutory and relevant service authority standards
• Oversee the delivery of immunisation services by the Immunisation Co-ordinator
• Manage the facilities and operations of the Kalkee Road Children's & Community HUB on a day-to-day basis and oversee and support the relationship with tenants of the centre
• Support the Manager Community Services & Emergency in the development of relevant youth and early years-related strategies, plans and projects, as necessary

The ideal applicant will have relevant degree or diploma course with several years of subsequent experience in co-ordinating and leading a team of staff in a relevant field, along with excellent communication skills, an understanding is required of long term HRCC youth and early years goals, values and aspirations and of the legal and political context in which the HRCC operates.
