Reporting to the General Manager of the Drug Court of Victoria (DC), the Drug Court Operations Manager (DCOM) is responsible for the operational management of the DC at Dandenong. The DCOM is responsible for ensuring that the DC operates in line with best practice research and that treatment and support is reflective of the most relevant and up to date research surrounding effective drug and alcohol intervention.
This position maintains oversight of local operational risks and provides direction and support to staff, ensuring that policies, procedures and values are upheld at all times; therefore, sound leadership, staff supervision and support, stakeholder management and quality assurance are required to ensure successful day-to-day operations.
The DCOM leads a diverse range of multidisciplinary staff including clinical advisors, officer in charge, registry staff and administrative staff. In addition, the DCOM is involved in strategic planning relating to the programs and service promotion and marketing as well as for the oversight of DC assets including the DC house and ensuring a safe and secure working environment.
