Our local government client located in Melbourne’s inner North are seeking a Technical Officer for an immediate start for a three-month contract.
  
Your responsibilities will largely consist of investigating road openings and vehicle crossing applications. In addition, you will receive queries, requiring a timely response providing technical advice to residents and developers regarding future development.
  
Both your written and verbal communications skills need to be clear, concise and accompanied with excellent attention to detail when liaising with colleagues, residents, business owners, VicRoads and other statutory authorities.
  
Requirements include:

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering or relevant technical field, complimented with appropriate industry experience.
• Familiarity with providing detailed technical administrative and customer support inside tight turnaround times.
• Ability to decipher engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience in Pathways, TRIM, and GIS software is highly regarded.
