Following the success of the 2017 Jobs4Youth SA program, Maxima have been appointed as the successful provider for the State Government Traineeship & Graduate Program. The program will support the establishment of entry-level positions in the South Australian Public Sector, effectively training and recruiting the next generation of public sector employees. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to complete 12 month full-time traineeships within the South Australian Public Sector. Traineeship conditions apply.
This is a general intake and candidates will be contacted as roles become available.
As a Trainee you will:
- Be employed by a State Government Department, full-time for 12 months.
- Receive practical work experience whilst undertaking a nationally recognised Certificate III qualification.
- Be required to satisfactorily complete a Background Screening and National Criminal History Record Check (NCHRC) prior to employment.
Ideal applicants will:
- Demonstrate good time management skills, initiative and a willingness to learn
- Be punctual and reliable.
- Be able to build relationships and networks.
- Provide good customer service.
- Work as an effective team member and under limited supervision.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders.
- Competently use Microsoft Office suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Actively participate in department activities.
