About the role
The City of Nedlands is seeking a professional individual to apply their project and coordination skills to oversee the development, implementation and periodic review of the Western Suburbs Regional Organisation of Councils (WESROC) strategic operational projects and plans, involving the planning, coordination and delivery of a comprehensive range of environmental projects and initiatives.
About the successful candidate
The successful candidate will have a post-secondary qualification in Environmental Science or relevant, well-developed program, policy and strategic management skills and experience, and strong interpersonal, communications and analytical skills.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an environmental, sustainability or environmental project delivery role and knowledge of the local authority process would be highly regarded.
What we offer
WESROC has funded the role for more than 10 years and there is an ongoing requirement for delivery of the projects. The contract is offered on a 12 month contract basis but is subject to extension in accordance with WESROC’s funding cycle. It offers a cash salary of $79,800 to $107,900 per annum (dependent on skills and experience) plus superannuation. The position will be reviewed annually and subject to budget approval.
