Boeing Defence Australia's Helicopter Aircrew Training System (HATS) Program is responsible for the development and support of the Australian Navy and Army Joint Helicopter School, featuring brand new aircraft and a suite of synthetic training devices.
We are now recruiting for a key program role, Operations Liaison Officer to help us deliver this premier Australian Defence Force aerospace training capability.
This role is based in Nowra - Shoalhaven region, HMAS Albatross known for an abundance of beautiful landscapes, recreational activities and business services, with a family friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and only 2 ½ hours drive to Sydney.
The role will assist in the mission planning, tasking, coordination and monitoring of air and synthetic operations to ensure the daily training program is achieved. The role of Helicopter School Flight Operations Scheduling Officer supports the Defence Operations Officer management of the operations centre resources and administration, and are required to use sophisticated computerised flight management systems.
Your role on the HATS Program will involve:
- · Execution of the Daily Training Program aligning to the course syllabus
- · Management of Key Performance Indicators
- · Management of multiple stakeholders to build the Daily Training Program
- · Assisting in short to medium term planning solutions
- · Coordination of internal and external stakeholders
To be successful in this role:
- · Experience in flight management systems such as FlightPro™ or Patriot Excalibur
- · Proven experience in Defence flying schools with complex programing
- · Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
- · Demonstrated ability to work within pre-set program timeframes
- · Flexibility to work reasonable ad-hoc hours - night flying, out of hours work, etc
