Our client based in the Western Suburbs, have the requirement for an experienced Administrator to join their Procurement team.
Duties of this position includes, but not limited to:
- Raising purchase orders and issuing to suppliers in accordance with policies including Procurement guidelines
- Obtaining quotations and raising purchase orders as directed by the Management
- Monitor and follow up orders to ensure goods and services provided are consistent with requirements
- Provide administrative support to the department, including tasks related to organisational, data management, customer service etc
- Preparation of correspondence and reports as directed
- Coordinate other special administrative projects as required
- Effectively manage record keeping
The successful applicant will have experience working as part of a procurement or contract management team in a support function and will have a general understanding of contract terms and contract management. You will have excellent communication skills, high attention to detail and be highly organised. Local Government experience is highly desirable but not essential.
