The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Pavement Technologist to join the Technical & Project Services division at Roads and Maritime Services (RMS). Reporting directly to the Pavement Manager (Asphalt Technology), you will be responsible for assisting in developing and providing technical expertise in design, construction and maintenance of asphalt pavements in order to deliver improved road pavement performance and minimise life cycle costs for the RMS and community
To be successful in this role, you have a wealth of experience and knowledge on maintenance of road pavements, asphalt mix design and production for major road infrastructure projects, high analytical and problem solving skills, excellent communication and able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders on delivering successful projects for RMS.

Remuneration package: RMS USS Grade 9 ($109,079- $117,262), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
