The Position
This role is responsible for the effective leadership and management of the City Strategy portfolio. As a key leader you will support the delivery of urban and environmental policy outcomes for our growing regional city.
Some of your initial focus areas will include:
- Providing active leadership and direction to develop a high performing, customer and team focused culture.
- Delivering a city-wide climate change policy.
- Delivering a revised structure plan for the West Dapto urban land release.
- Overseeing the preparation of development controls for the Wollongong city centre.
Your success in this role will be demonstrated through your ability to lead strategically and achieve high quality outcomes and results for the organisation. You will have strong communication, interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with an ability to engage across all levels of the business.
