Client & Engineer:

Leading technology company that supports customers throughout Australia, United States and Europe are looking to hire a Senior Electronics Engineer (Digital bias), to assist their Engineering department with the development and application of devices for their special purpose machinery (electro-mechanical products). 

The chosen individual will have basic knowledge and development experience with electrical circuits (vacuum tubes, transistors, diodes, sensors, optoelectronics and more).  However, you will be an expert within Digital Electronics or Digital Electronic Circuits, you will have hands on experience developing electronic products that operate on digital signals.  An excellent understanding of IoT is also required. 

Working closely with Supplier Quality Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Project Managers, the Continuous Improvement Team and Lean Management you will align your skills and experiences, methodologies to drive product improvement.
  

You will be:

• A Quality-focused professional engineer with over 5 years’ experience delivering electronic system development within industrial engineering equipment
• An individual with a deep understanding of electronics, software, sensors, actuators, connectivity of all enabling a product to connect and exchange data to feed this back to a computer-based system, resulting in better product efficiency and continuous improvement 
• Excellent understanding of “The Internet of Things” (IoT – excellent to be involved with now and over the next 2 years especially). You will have working knowledge of the network of physical devices, whether that be from large machinery, vehicles, agricultural machinery or home appliances
• Knowledge of embedded systems such as microcontroller and embedded PC controlled devices
• Experience in new product development, system analysis and solution development from initial concept to completion
• Capable of delivering small to large sized digital control system projects independently and as part of a team
• 5 years hands on experience within digital electronic development & commissioning
• Successful leader doesn’t have to have been a manager, just have strong leadership skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience

To apply you will have:

• Degree and 5 years’ experience within Digital Electronics Engineering
• Deep knowledge of electro – mechanical product development
• Sound understand of IoT technology
• 5 years continuous improvement experience
• Experience within control and condition monitoring equipment
• Experience with electronics, software, sensors and actuators
• Experience working with external stakeholders
• Must be a Team Player
• Must have excellent communication skills
