EM Solutions designs and manufactures broadband telecommunications equipment for satellite ground stations and terrestrial microwave links and also does specialised project work. The company has several vacancies in its Manufacturing group for electronics assemblers to assist with the assembly and testing of printed circuit boards (PCBs), electronic modules and subsystems.
Main Responsibilities
- Soldering of PCBs
- Assembly of PCBs and higher level modules
- Assembly of cables
- Adherence to QA procedures and documentation
- Identification of design/manufacturing/assembly issues and possible solutions
Key Requirements
- A current soldering certificate and demonstrated experience in manual soldering
- Experience with the assembly of electronic modules and digital and RF cables
- Ability to work from drawings and follow written or computer based instructions
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Visa status
Position
The position is in the Manufacturing group at EM Solutions and reports to the Manufacturing Manager. The salary is market based and negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Flexibility in work hours is available and the company can provide support for advanced courses/skills training in relevant disciplines.
