The Role
AECOM are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer and Project manager to play a senior role within our highly successful Sydney Cities team where we are helping to deliver brilliant places in major urban regeneration precincts including Green Square, Central to Eveleigh and The Bays.
We are looking for a passionate place engineer who is a natural integrator and understands how to combine civil engineering, urban design and landscape disciplines to deliver functional solutions and improved urban amenity as our city grows.
About You
You will have an urban development background with positive relationships working with government and private sector clients in Sydney.
You will be an experienced project manager with an understanding of all phases of a development project from planning, through to design and delivery and can demonstrate an ability to liaise with external stakeholders and contractors to deliver positive project outcomes.
The suitable candidate for this role will have the following profile
- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or similar
- 10+ years of general civil engineering experience with a particular focus and passion for urban regeneration projects
- Experience managing and integrating multi-discipline teams
- Strong knowledge of Sydney design standards and approval processes
- Experience in successfully leading project teams
- Passionate about training and mentorship of junior team members
