We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – Control Systems to join our collaborative and innovative engineering team working across multiple projects based from Sydney or Wollongong. The role will be responsible for the technical, financial, contractual, resource, safety and quality management of allocated LV/Control systems projects. To be based from our Sydney office, you will require a strong skill set in LV and exposure to working on local region water infrastructure projects. The Control Systems Engineer role will provide a key function in our strategy and will be involved in:
- Performing Detailed Design for LV and Control Systems Projects;
- Leading and assisting team members in technical decision making for LV/Control systems projects;
- Preparation of estimates for LV/Control Systems projects;
- Onsite Testing and Commissioning for LV and Control Systems Projects;
- Identification and pursuit of new work opportunities with both new and existing clients.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor Engineering Degree (Electrical); CP-ENG preferred
- Significant industry experience in electrical design, fault finding and commissioning of industrial LV systems and control and automation systems;
- Experience in design of LV systems, LV switchboards, cabling systems, variable speed drives, motor control systems and instrumentation systems;
- Experience with industrial control and automation products (SCADA, PLC) and telemetry systems considered advantageous;
- Awareness with safety systems, legislation codes and contractual documentation.
