CATCON have consistently increased our portfolio of projects across Australia, and are now positioned to increase our graduate programme to include additional civil or mechancial engineering graduates.

Ideally, we are looking for people that have graduated in 2015 – 2017, or have a few years of experience at the Site Engineer level.

We have positions available at Head Office in an Engineering Procurement role and another as Plant Co-ordinator – serving for 12 months and thereafter placed in the field on a major project, the remaining positions are offered across our various Renewable Energy and Infrastructure projects, all situated in remote areas nationally, which will involve working away from home (returning to home domicile on regular breaks) and provided full accommodation allowances and fights etc.

All positions will report to the Project Engineer/Project Manager(s) on site, will have responsibility for quality and the management of engineering works along with the Project Manager, minor purchasing, liaison with sub-contractors and researching wet and dry hire contractors.  Both roles will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Engineering Procurement role will assume responsibility for procurement across the entire engineering and company capability and liaise and work with all project related personnel and suppliers across our supply chain and the Plant Co-ordinator will manage all major and minor plant across the engineering works.

Other Duties
Reporting and recording information on our internal database.

Interpreting engineering drawings, liaising with construction supervisors to determine engineering works and to ensure items of plant and equipment are mobilised in accordance with works packages and schedules.

Administration of the project sites quality management system and quality documentation and project records management.
