We have a fantastic opportunity for an R & D professional to join our Xtralis team. 

The R & D Leader motivates, develops and retains the team that executes new product development from planning to successful in-market delivery of the product development projects through the most efficient means possible to target on quality, functionality, performance, cost and schedule. This extends to supporting the application and integration of the new product and future development of variants of the new product to address market niches and key partner opportunities. The role includes the necessary governance of R&D development processes & systems and the co-ordination of inter-dependencies across the entire organisation, particularly for the resolution of any risks & issues that may arise.

To succeed in this key role, you will be a tertiary qualified engineer with credible experience of product development in large and complex environments. Your experience will be in high-tech manufacturing ideally in regulated/ quality focussed environments and you will have a demonstrated ability to lead an innovative team to bring new ideas to the market. You will have good working knowledge of Optics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Firmware, Software, Cloud Services and cyber security applied to product design and development.
