We are looking for a Production Systems Engineer to drive continuous improvement, administer production systems and provide system support to the Operations Centre of a busy Mine site.
  
This role is a great opportunity for a self-motivated individual with a systems background to make a significant contribution to the Mining operations centre. Reporting to the Production Systems Specialist, you will be:

• Identifying and driving improvement in the operations centre
• Providing administration and support to Sites production systems (OSI PI skills essential).
• Designing, planning and undertaking operations centre improvement projects
• Production system FAT and SAT testing.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, Process) or Computer science
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate a commitment to safety
• OSI PI Historian Experience including Asset Framework
• Programming skills in SQL

It will also be beneficial if you have:

• Production system experience (Historians, Ampla, Stockpile Management)
• SCADA (Citect and Plantpax)
• Safety systems experience
• Reporting system experience (SSRS, Power BI)

Any Production systems experience in the fixed plant space, O&G, Mining or food manufacturing would all be beneficial.
