About the role
Laing O’Rourke is recruiting a Technical Working Group (TWG) Design Coordinator to assist in the management of the Technical Working Groups for The Sydney Central Station Main (CSM) Works Project.
Key responsibilities
The TWG coordinator will record design actions to resolve technical issues, define additional design requirements and then liaise with the CSM management team, design team and rail stakeholders to coordinate design, close actions, manage meeting minutes, and raise and respond to RFIs. Technical Working Groups will be held for each discipline on the project so the successful applicant will be exposed to a wide range of disciplines across the entire CSM project, will be involved in value engineering and will learn stakeholder management skills. The Technical Working Group Coordinator will report to the Operations Interface Manager on the project.
You will have
A relevant engineering degree combined with significant experience on large scale civil/rail projects, ideally in Australia.
