Senior Design Engineer

A privately owned multi-disciplinary (town planning, surveying & design) who work with with major developers, private & international investors are seeking to expand their engineering team in Melbourne.

The work includes 3 new multi-stage developments (average of 1500 lots) and an award winning marina/residential project. You will work with a talented team of 25 engineers, designers and drafters.

Working in a privately owned business, you will have the opportunity as a Senior Design Engineer to earn a discretionary bonus, overtime & have access to annual leave loading.

To be considered for the role of Senior Civil Engineer / Design Manager, you will require;

• Degree in Civil Engineering (or other relevant)
• 10+ years experience in Civil Engineering with a consultancy across Land Development subdivision projects
• Strong experience using 12D with good knowledge of design principles
• Knowledge of local standards and processes
• A solid understanding of the planning process
• Impeccable communication skills (written and verbal) to aid in continuous interaction with team members and outside stakeholders.

Remuneration is competitive dependent on individual and fit within team;

• $120,000+ & opportunity for bonus/overtime/annual leave loading

Please note I am also seeking a Project Manager from a Civil Engineering background to delivery these projects on a day to day basis.
