Your new company
A busy Australian Balustrades and Facades Company is seeking an experienced drafts person to join their stable, close-knit team of hard working guys, the option to work autonomously, have real trust and freedom.
Built on a culture of committed skilled workers who are happy to progress in a forward thinking working environment. You will be working on a variety of custom jobs covering light commercial and high end apartment projects across Melbourne’s inner suburbs, working non Tier 2 - 3 bespoke clients.
Your new role
You will have a sound 360 Design over-view, ideally have experience in the facades industry, have abstract design and presentation skills for pre-construction stages. Crucial to making the designs a reality and operating collectively under high profile purchasers, you will be able to liaise with all parties with ease, answering to the director and able to work autonomously. An understanding of trades in the windows and doors industry is desirable but not essential.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have the ability and technical expertise to work separately and to an extraordinary standard. You will have a good understanding of all 2D and 3D processes in the design and construction phase of quality framing and balustrade.
You will demonstrate strong AutoCAD experience, being able to draw on past examples of your work to enable you to make your mark within the company; Inventor or Solidworks or Solid Edge are also desirable.
