The Project
CPB Contractors has been selected by BHP Iron Ore to deliver the construction of bulk earthworks, concrete and underground services for the South Flank project in Western Australia’s Pilbara region. Works are commencing immediately with estimated completion expected late 2020.
Your Opportunity
As an Environmental Advisor, you will be an integral member of the SHEQ Team by assisting in the delivery of environmental services to ensure the project meets its environmental responsibilities. This is a FIFO role working a 15/6 roster on South Flank MAC project with an immediate start. We have a strong pipeline of work and this is a permanent role.
The successful applicant will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in an environmental discipline
- Environmental Auditor Qualification
- Ability to conduct risk analysis of potential environmental impacts
- Ability to track and report on results from environmental monitoring
- Ability to analyse and investigate environmental incidents and provide valuable feedback to relevant stakeholders
- Ability to write succinct reports as required
- Ability to Interface with design, construction and community management teams within the project
- Ability to engage and communicate to subcontractors
- Absolute commitment to safety with everything you do
