THE COMPANY

MAK Industrial Water Solutions is a national water and waste water treatment specialist.  From its Malaga Head Office, MAK Water designs & manufactures a wide range of water treatment plants.

We are an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) with a strong future order book for the industrial, mining and resources industries across Australia and overseas.

THE ROLE

Working in a small team of drafting personnel and reporting to the Engineering Manager, the principle focus of this role is to provide drafting support to the engineering team. Based in our Malaga Office, day to day duties will include:

• Design and develop P & ID’s, general arrangement drawings and fabrication drawings
• Update drawings in liaison with the designated project engineer/manager
• Maintain drawing templates and drawings register
• Provide assistance during fabrication on any queries raised in regards to layout and fit of details equipment

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Drafting or engineering qualification
• Demonstrated experience in CAD and Solidworks (preferred)
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to communicate with engineering, procurement and fabrication teams
• Attention to detail, ensuring drawings are accurate and convey sufficient information
• Previous experience with an OEM will be highly regarded
