Due to the growth of our business and an expanded portfolio of projects, an exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated Track Engineer to join our team.

As part of the Transport and Resource team, this role covers a broad range of skills relating to track engineering. The primary focus of this role is to undertake track and alignment design and consulting services for railway infrastructure projects and related areas in order to enhance the team’s portfolio of skills and expertise, support the track team leader in running projects, and mentor junior team members. 

In addition, the successful candidate will: 

• Work without supervision, referring up as necessary, on works associated with Track Design.  In achieving this you will be responsible for meeting deadlines, monitoring budgets and resourcing and controlling expenditure to meet financial targets in your own area;

• Provide designs and technical advice throughout the engineering process from project inception to delivery, operation and maintenance in business areas such as:

Light Rail

Metro/Mass Transit rail

Metropolitan and Regional Mixed Passenger and Freight Rail

Heavy Haul Rail

Depot, Stabling and Maintenance Facilities

Ports, Coal and Materials Handling Infrastructure
