Our client is currently looking for a senior java developer with passion, drive and commitment.
The client is known for being a leading market provider in its industry and is now looking for several senior developers who are looking to work on a exciting new project.

The Role:

• Design, develop and maintain Enterprise Grade reusable APIs, Microservices and API Platform
• Develop and enforce standards and best practices for the API development and management
• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to understand enterprise and technology requirements to deliver high quality outcomes for the enterprise
• Engage with team leads and programme managers to deliver effective outcomes for the enterprise
• Assess current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
• Assess technology industry and market trends, and determine their potential impact on the enterprise

Experience

• 8-10 years of experience in software development, testing and architecture specifically in integration background
• 2-3 years’ Agile experience working in cross-functional Agile teams from inception to release
• 2+ years of experience in management roles directly leading people and teams
• Expert knowledge of REST + JSON
• Strong appreciation for API First Development approach
• Hands on experience on AWS Cloud platform
• Agile development practices such as TDD / BDD, CI/CD, test automation, pair programming, etc.
• Software testing methodology and techniques, and automated testing frameworks and tools such as JMeter, ReadyAPI etc.
• Extensive experience specifically in development languages and frameworks such as Java, JavaScript, Node, and React
• Experience with open source frameworks and technology such as Spring/Hibernate, Springboot etc.
• General depth of experience allowing ability to rapidly come to an understanding of new technologies
