About the Role
In this role you will be part of the Cornell Design team providing additional design capacity and expertise to our clients during busy periods. You will regularly be working on our client's sites, integrated into their electrical engineering and design teams to help them achieve their desired outcomes. At times this will be with large companies, other teams could be as small as 2-3 people. Often the role is fast paced and you will be required to adapt to new environments quickly. At Cornell Design clients come first, being able to appropriately manage client's expectations is a must.
Duties & responsibilities
To succeed you will need a flexible attitude towards changing work environments and projects. In addition you will need to be able to 'hit the ground running' in getting up to speed with our client's specific requirements and drawing standards. Professional presentation, punctuality and working well in a team are other essential attributes.
Skill & experience
Applicants must be proficient and experienced using relevant electrical design packages, Auto CAD Electrical would be an advantage but not essential. More importantly applicants must also have at least 8 years post trade experience, preferably in an industrial automation and controls environment. You must have working knowledge and experience with automation and electrical components. In all applicants, a strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills are a must. All resumes shall be submitted in PDF.
