The vacancy
This civil team are looking for a Mid-level or Senior Civil Engineer who has worked on building projects in very recent years. The successful candidate will be hired on a permanent basis to assist with design and documentation and will be expected to manage project flow and delegate to others to effectively manage project load.
 
Day to day responsibilities
Day to day, you will create exceptional designs for projects, both new and existing. You will be given projects to nurture and be responsible for managing design hours as well as updating the client and liaising with other engineering disciplines to finalise documentation.   
 
In 12+ months, it is likely you will have your own small project portfolio and some repeat work. You will be able to continue relationships with current clients and expand your technical expertise to become a more experienced senior engineer, working toward career advancement.
 
Requirements

• Civil Engineering Degree from a recognised university
• Advanced design skills using Civil3D or 12D
• A desire to work toward chartership and improve your personal capabilities
• Victorian experience enough to understand the civil engineering building market
• Demonstrated experience designing car parks, retaining walls, drainage and other civil associated building works to Australian codes
