North East Engineering is offering a fantastic new opportunity for an Experienced Drafter with well-developed skills who would enjoy working in a rapidly expanding manufacturing company under the guidance and mentoring of our Engineering Team.
About the Business:
North East Engineering was established in 1999 and since its beginnings has developed longstanding and collaborative relationships with various businesses, Federal and State Governments, Local Councils, Mining and Large Fleets off the back of its in-house specialisation in the design and fabrication of Customised Transport Solutions, with its main focus in body manufacture for heavy vehicles.
About the Role:
The successful applicant will be joining a small drafting team and will be required to demonstrate:
- The ability to understand and produce Workshop Drawings to AS1100
- An understanding of General Manufacturing Processes and Design Methods
- Highly proficient skills with using the latest version Autodesk CAD Suite, Inventor (preferable)
- Highly proficient skills with using Microsoft Office Suite
- The ability to provide Innovative Ways of Thinking
- Willing to Learn and Work in a Team and Continue to Build on Skills
- The ability to take Initiative with Tasks
- The ability to work in a Positive Fast Paced Environment
- Experience in the knowledge of Drafting for Sheetmetal (favourable)
