Senior/Systems Safety Assurance Engineer

ACRWORLD have been tasked with a globally respected engineering consultancy to find experienced Systems Engineers with rail experience for a major project in Victoria.  
  
This is an exciting time to join a reputable organisation who design and manage the delivery of multi-billion-dollar projects Australia wide.  
  
You will be responsible for managing and developing rail systems for major projects in Melbourne.
  

• Manage the development of all rail systems and processes
• System assurance management
• System engineering
• Requirements Engineering and Management
• Systems Integration
• Plan, perform and manage safety assurance tasks in line with contract requirements.
• Specify safety requirements and assess safety validation tests.
• Coordinate safety assurance planning and reporting
• Apply the safety assurance methodologies defined for the project

  
Skills
  

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering
• Excellent Internal and External stakeholder management experience
• 5 - 10 years of relevant experience working in a similar role (rail industry experience desirable).
• Demonstrated experience with IBM Rational DOORS
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in technical project delivery
• Knowledge of railway signalling engineering.
