Your Role
The role works in close collaboration with a highly skilled engineering and technical team, your role has a broad focus, covering design, planning, costing, installation and commission, support, training and pre-sales.
Your responsibilities include:
- Timely and high quality technical solutions that meet the needs of our customer.
- Effective and efficient installation of systems to time, cost and quality expectations
- Manage Service Requests
- Develop and deliver training resources
- Provide design input into new proposals and contract variations
Your Skills and Experience
You will hold a degree qualification in an Engineering or IT discipline with at least 7 years' practical experience. You will be able to demonstrate sound working knowledge of electronic and computer systems such as Ethernet, wireless, proximity, tracking and DC power systems. Additionally, you will have the ability to; program and configure; install and commission; operate and maintain and undertake troubleshooting and repair work for these systems.
Ideally, you will also have strong experience with:
- IT systems and network infrastructure and components
- Server infrastructure deployment and configuration, and VM configuration
- Database and Unix/Linux configuration
We are looking for someone who can lead a team, has strong judgment and builds excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You will be flexible to undertake site travel, both domestic and international, during the deployment and commissioning stages of the project as well as for support and maintenance.
